Originally from San Francisco California, Cambi is a highly experienced former NCAA DI college lacrosse player who was recruited on scholarship for the University of Oregon. At the University of Oregon, she was a four-year starter and a dominant player on offence. Cambi broke multiple records and became Oregon’s all-time assist leader. She received UO’s Scholar Athlete Award three years in a row for maintaining her impressive GPA while balancing being a successful student-athlete. She also served as a member of Ducks Leadership Committee (2017) and Influential Team Leaders (2018). She’s coached multiple club lacrosse teams for young female athletes over the years. Having come to Australia on a work/travel visa she is looking for both playing and coaching opportunities at top Melbourne clubs.
Cambi has coached two different competitive high-school lacrosse club teams for The Tenacity Project in California. She held individual training sessions for young lacrosse players who were looking to get recruited to play in colleges across the United States. She was a program director for a summer sports academy where she taught young male and female athletes a wide-range of sports including soccer, basketball, lacrosse, football, and softball. She would love to grow the sport of lacrosse here in Australia and use her athletic experience to teach and empower young athletes. She is also passionate about fitness and building a community with athletics.
